Healthy Pizza

Overview

This a great take on a popular recipe that is quick and easy to make. Here is my take on making it healthy so you can enjoy it without the guilt.

Healthy Pizza

Ingredients
  • Wholemeal pizza dough
  • Shredded low fat cheese (2% milk fat)
  • Pesto
  • Garlic or garlic powder
  • Sliced chillies
  • Tomatoe Puree
  • Black Pepper
  • 1 can sardines, cleaned
  • 1/4 Onion, sliced
  • 1/2 can black olives, drained
  • Roasted bell peppers (capsicum)
  • Organic cooked chicken breast
Directions
  • Spread pizza dough onto pizza pan with a rolling pin to 1 inch thickness
  • Using a flat spoon, cover base with pesto
  • Using same spoon, spread tomatoe puree on base
  • Sprinkle over with garlic powder and black pepper
  • Spread over with cleaned sardines, sliced onions, chopped chillies, diced roasted bell peppers (capsicum) and sliced black olives
  • Dice cooked chicken breast and sprinkle on top
  • Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees farenheight (232 degrees celcius)
  • Cook for 14 minutes
  • Take out of oven and sprinkle over with shredded low fat cheese
  • Bake for another 5 minutes
