This a great take on a popular recipe that is quick and easy to make. Here is my take on making it healthy so you can enjoy it without the guilt.
Ingredients
- Wholemeal pizza dough
- Shredded low fat cheese (2% milk fat)
- Pesto
- Garlic or garlic powder
- Sliced chillies
- Tomatoe Puree
- Black Pepper
- 1 can sardines, cleaned
- 1/4 Onion, sliced
- 1/2 can black olives, drained
- Roasted bell peppers (capsicum)
- Organic cooked chicken breast
- Spread pizza dough onto pizza pan with a rolling pin to 1 inch thickness
- Using a flat spoon, cover base with pesto
- Using same spoon, spread tomatoe puree on base
- Sprinkle over with garlic powder and black pepper
- Spread over with cleaned sardines, sliced onions, chopped chillies, diced roasted bell peppers (capsicum) and sliced black olives
- Dice cooked chicken breast and sprinkle on top
- Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees farenheight (232 degrees celcius)
- Cook for 14 minutes
- Take out of oven and sprinkle over with shredded low fat cheese
- Bake for another 5 minutes
